    • Unassisted Studio Rental

      • Full, independent access to the studio. Perfect when you just want to show up, get into your zone, and keep your practice moving. (Note: You must be certified to use our equipment before reserving unassisted time.)

    • Assisted Studio Rental

      • Ideal for experimenting, leveling up your skills, or strengthening the technical side of your practice with guidance along the way. With assisted studio rental, an SPF staff member will be by your side to walk you through processes, troubleshoot, explore new techniques, and work toward certification on our equipment. 

    • Workshop

      • A chance to pick up new techniques, expand your toolkit, and spark ideas that feed directly back into your practice, or just have fun learning something that interests you. Workshops are generally brief and introductory, so they are not the best option for making a full-scale edition or similar project, but they can be a great way to test a specific technique.

    • Internship

      • We encourage interns to make their own work and provide studio access for personal projects outside of their internship hours. Interns receive training and guidance from SPF staff throughout their internship. Get paid to learn! (Note: the internship is currently paused until 2026. The internship program is also highly competitive.)

    • Contract Printing

      • If you tried to print before and decided it’s not for you or if you don’t have the time to learn a whole new technique but you love the result, you can pass it off to us! Our precise and skilled team can produce a wide variety of commissioned works for artists.

  • We want to collaborate with you, too! Our expert staff is standing by to help you complete your project to whatever degree you are looking for from catching prints and putting them on the drying rack to guiding you through a whole new technique. Check out the options below!

    • Assisted Studio Rental

      • Assisted studio rental is the best option for working directly with our staff. When you opt for assisted studio rental, you get 4 hours of one-on-one time with a staff member who is knowledgeable in the technique you want to do. We can provide as much or as little guidance as you would like. 

    • Contract Printing

      • Our expert staff can guide you through printing processes, materials, and workflows to elevate your ideas and help with the details of your project to. We ultimately do the printing but you are welcome to be present during all aspects of the process.

    • Internship

      • Our staff act as mentors in the studio, helping you build confidence, sharpen new skills, and articulate your work, all while working towards the direction you want your career to take. (Note: the internship is currently paused until 2026. The internship program is also highly competitive.)

  • As the only public access printmaking and book arts studio in Miami, we’re all about sharing our knowledge! Check out the options below:

    • Workshop

      • With our unique and niche opportunities, ranging from letterpress to papermaking, we offer the largest variety of learning paper-based techniques in South Florida. Whether you’re trying something for the first time or bringing a friend or family member, there’s always more to learn..

    • Assisted Studio Rental

      • Beginners and experienced printers welcome! Our staff will guide you one-on-one, whether you're learning a new skill or building upon previously acquired knowledge.

    • Internship

      • You don't have to be an experienced printmaker to apply; everyone is welcome! By working on commissioned works, you will learn new techniques and skills. (Note: the internship is currently paused until 2026. The internship program is also highly competitive.)

    • Assisted Studio Rental

      • During your session, an experienced staff member will help identify the most effective methods for your project, from materials to design, customized to your abilities and preferences. With this option you can be present during the entire production while stepping in as much or as little as you prefer.

  • Our studio is full of heavy, hard-to-come-by equipment and niche expertise so it is a hub of creatives with similar interests. Just being here will bring you into community with other ink-on-paper lovers as well as the larger Bakehouse Artist community! Consider the options below:

    • Workshops

      • Led by an expert, you’ll learn something new, meet people with similar interests, and try out techniques that can meaningfully benefit your practice.

    • Assisted Studio Rental

      • In addition to developing your techniques alongside our staff, this option allows you to earn the certification required for Unassisted Studio Rental. Interesting people are always coming and going in the studio so to be here is to make new friends!

    • Internship

      • A paid ($$$$) opportunity to develop hands-on technical expertise across all SPF facilities. Our unique location provides access to a wide range of networks within the art world and will teach you how to work in a collaborative environment.
