Get ready to get inky!

First, we must say a huge THANK YOU for your support and patience as we have been settling into our new home at Bakehouse Art Complex. Now, after a long build out, we are looking forward to opening our doors and getting inky with you! Our new facilities are better than ever. Everything is organized into 5 separate studios and WE HAVE A RISO! That’s right, we can now help you with risograph printing. (Not sure what a risograph is? Give it a quick google search and be amazed!)

The grand opening is gonna be big but if you’re looking to get in early and a little quieter, make sure to read to the end!

Grand Opening:
Friday, March 20th 5-9pm

Let’s celebrate the equinox by getting our inkiness back in balance! Come see our new facilities in action with printmaking demonstrations, a tour of our brand new papermaking facilities, a Riso zine making activity, and, of course, snacks and bevs on the house!

You’ll get a chance to meet our new staff and dream up new projects or talk with us about the project you’ve been dying to get started.

Also enjoy the Bakehouse Artist Open Studios from 6-9pm where you can wander the Bakehouse and see what our 70 or so artist neighbors have been working on! Bakehouse: Past, Present, Future will be on display in the galleries where you can learn about the history of the building and organization, see work by Bakehouse artists, and get a sneak peek at the ambitious future of the complex.

Artist Meet & Greet:
Monday February, 23rd 6-8pm

If you were a previous IS Projects member or if you are considering joining as a Bakehouse Associate artist, join us alongside the Bakehouse artist community as we introduce you to our new facilities and staff. We’ll be going through our offerings and how to access them and answering any questions that you might have about how to make art in our new space. Think of this as a very soft opening. After this we will begin opening up the studio for rental in a limited capacity to Bakehouse artists and close friends of the studio.
