🌞 Give Miami Day + SPF = Bingo, Fun, and a Future for the Fair!

Give Miami Day is Miami’s biggest day of generosity, a citywide celebration where thousands of people come together to support nonprofits, big and small. Every donation counts, and every gift (no matter the size) creates a ripple effect that fuels real, lasting change.

With our organization’s home base now in the Bakehouse Art Complex in Miami, we are joining Give Miami Day for the first time. So you know, we had to do it in our own way, completely in the spirit of the fair, with a Bingo fundraiser! That’s right, you can play bingo while donating to the fair, and when we get a row, everyone wins. It’s a way to combine the mass generosity of this event with the chaotic energy that makes SPF… well, SPF … so SPF-ing fun!

While SPF’s studio and year-round programming take place in Miami, our annual fair has traditionally been held in Broward, and while our future location is not set in stone, we will always have a special place in our hearts for our 954 roots. This year, we’re bringing a little bit of SPF’s new Miami energy directly to you, no matter where you are, through a game that will fund future fairs' most essential elements.

Here’s how SPF Bingo works:

  1. Pick a number on any of the cards.

  2. Donate that amount to our Give Miami Day Campaign between Nov 15 and Nov 20

  3. We will update the Bingo cards on our IG stories throughout the early giving period (Nov 15-19) and a whole bunch on the big day (Nov 20)!

  4. When a row, column, or diagonal line is filled, the prize is revealed! This isn’t a prize you take home, but for the community: a portion of the next Small Press Fair. Everyone wins!

Each prize helps keep the fair alive and running, including:

  • Fair compensation for our staff and teaching artists

  • Keeping exhibitor fees as low as possible

  • The STEAMROLLER!!

  • Free workshops

  • Free artist talks

  • Free entrance 

  • Venue expenses

  • Outreach (we’d love to get a billboard for our 10th fair!)

  • and lots more to be revealed!
